Custom Sizing - How To Size Yourself

Before you receive your set, we must receive an accurate nail plate measurement.

MATERIALS

The easiest method will require:

• transparent tape (e.g., Scotch tape)

• millimeter tape measure or ruler

• permanent marker/ink pen

• a piece of paper

PROCESS

~ Please do not include your pen marks in your final measurements, as those will add unnecessary millimeters to your nail size. Please try to be as accurate as possible to avoid fit issues, which can lead to issues with nail health if worn long-term~

1. Apply the transparent tape across the entirety of your nail surface & the tip of the finger pad

2. Hold & press for at least 5 seconds

3. Mark both sides of your nail plate & cuticle

4. Repeat for each finger on each hand (most nails are of varying sizes, making independent sizing necessary)

5. Remove the tape & place it onto a piece of paper (we suggest labeling each finger to organize your tapes)

6. Measure each tape by millimeter & keep track of the size for each finger to add to your online order

   • We request your measurements in this format:

     • RIGHT: Thumb/Index/Middle/Ring/Pinky

     • LEFT: Thumb/Index/Middle/Ring/Pinky

Remember that Gel-X extensions tend to shrink post-cure, making it hard to lie flat on your nail plate. For this reason, it’s always recommended to size up when in doubt so you can file away excess material if needed!
